When we founded Avalon Hospitality Group, our vision was simple: to create a company that could deliver results-driven hospitality solutions while staying true to the people and partnerships that define our industry. Our journey began in 1998, when Carrin and I acquired Packard & Associates, a respected San Diego firm specializing in community association management. While our early work focused on HOA management, we soon saw the opportunity to apply our expertise more broadly. That vision led us to build a hotel management division—planting the foundation for what Avalon Hospitality Group has become today.

 

Over the years, our hospitality arm grew steadily, earning a reputation for operational excellence, personalized service, and trusted relationships. Today, Avalon Hospitality Group is proud to focus exclusively on hotels, serving a diverse portfolio of independent and branded properties across the United States. We provide comprehensive management services—spanning operations, revenue strategy, sales and marketing, training, capital planning, and more—with one goal in mind: to maximize performance while delivering unforgettable guest experiences.
